Hi,

the internal battery of my Ensoniq DP2 is dead. It is a common battery that you can find in remote controls and watches, but the problem is, that it is soldered to the mainframe through two glued-on metal strips. At least I think they?re glued on. Anyway, I cannot remove those strips by heating them with a soldering iron. They just break.
Any idea where to get replacement batteries with these metal terminals on? All we got from E-mu was: "go to Radio Shack" (which of course is not the right answer...they don?t have them)

Thanks for your feedback,

R.

Otherwise, use a plain batterie and a shrink wrap that just fit's the batterie. Then put wires (with a chunky solder blob on the end's) on each side off the batterie (in the shrink wrap that is) and make the wrap shrink by heating it gently. Don't apply to much heat cause batteries don't like this....
