That looks really nice!

I'm really going to have to get up to speed with 500 series stuff - would be perfect for my small studio, yet I still keep on building stuff in 2U racks.

So this would be like a solid state version pultec like the JLM offer? Looks great mate, good luck with that, I might jump the bandwagon on that.  :)

Max's previous effort:

Looks like he's planning on the same sort of "bottom freq on the top of the face" thing.

Is this DIY or finished product? Will you offer the inductor/trafos separately?

thanks guys  :)

the eqp500 will come as a kit - i will probably offer ready-made units too.
the kit will contain the PCB´s, the nife (nickel-iron) inductor, the hs-56 style transformers and the L-brackt or housing.
i´ll probably add some other parts as well.
DOA´s are available in many flavours (a nice can be found here + check the offerings in the white market)

bottom freq on the top of the face

yeah, the bfottotf series ;D

really, watch that request!

I'd suggest providing the pots with these.  It was difficult to source some of the values for the MEQ500 in both the right size and length here in the USA.  I had to order pots from Germany in the end.
