Fender Pilot Jewel Assembly

Does anybody know what size mounting hole this is?

I have one of the hamptone kits and would rather load it with an incandescent than the neon it suggests.

The kit has a 1/2" hole already in it.

If the fender doesn't work, does anybody know of something I could use in the 1/2" hole.

I could run it off 50V DC.

The pilot light on my silverface Princeton is a bit bigger than 1/2"... the hole in the faceplate measures 0.75", but you could work it into a 0.55" hole - that's the washer ID.

You could check the New Sensor site... might tell you exactly.

Anybody have any other ideas?

Could I run the 24V led version off the 50VDC with another resister?

Radio Shack has some pilots that run straight off the 120.
They don't look that bad either.
