I have a failed pt-100. There is a burnt resistor it's the only through hole resistor (R21). I can't read the color code because of the damage to it. the resistor is in series with the 9V DC voltage.

Does somebody have some information about this? I found on a forum it should be 470K but that's not possible because the first band is red (2) and there is a gold tolerance band.

I can't find the chip either. It's a hynix chip, but I can't find any info on that (it has 28 pins surface mount).

You can't burn a 470K with 9V.

(9V*9V/470,000 = 0.000,18 Watts. You can not find a resistor that small.)

In series with the 9V would be 47r or 100r.

Even so that would only burn with an AC supply onto a DC input. If the AC supply was powerful, other parts may have burned.
