Selling an SSL Alpha Link AX .

Basically brand new. This was a new unit sent by SSL in exchange for a faulty unit.
Still in its box.

£850 ono plus shipping.

What most people do not know:
The Alphalink is not just an AD/DA converter.
As a nice extra you get also an ADAT/MADI converter.
This means the unit can either be an 24ch AD/AD to ADAT or - if connected to MADI- add the 3 ADAT streams on top to the AD/DA streams. In other words: 48 channels in one box!!! 

Don't throw away your existing ADAT based converters. You can add them to the Alphalink and raise your i/o channel count.

If I didn't had one already I probably would buy it. 8)

I can't believe nobody wants it at that price..

I would swap it for a Lucid 88192 plus some cash or the Alpha Link SX [AES] version.

We also need a 16track, 2inch, 15ips, NAB test tape if anyone has one?
