G7 2,2u Blocking Cap ?

Hi !!

I have finish my G7 since a long time...

I made a opamp preamp, and now i have a question

" Why there is a 2,2u Blocking Cap before
the output trafo of the microphone ? "

Because if i understand good
transformers block the DC naturaly, so don't need a Cap
like in the input section of a preamp if we
use a transformer.

where i am wrong ?
