Hello everyone, just want to say that I find the forum very informative and appreciate what you all do here. Furthermore this is my first post 
I was needing help with some info on the transformer mod on my Gap Pre 73 MkII. I did a lot of research and found this http://www.jlmaudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=171 which is very helpful. The catch is I am interested in using the Carnhill Transformers. Would I still have to change the trim pot to 1.5v on the Output Carnhill? I'm guessing so since I've read that was important in the Neve design. I hope this all makes sense as I'm learning almost more than I can process haha. Any help would be greatly appreciated and perhaps a guide is hiding out somewhere? Anyways, thanks for any replies
