Hmm .. Looks like we're not quite there yet, if the only benefit is 15dB sensitivity and it then comes with 11K top limit.

Been discussing this with Tim C. for a while - with current materials we find no real benefit for our kind of "real" audio. But in miniature mic capsules for phones etc., it gives new possibilities..

Many good mikes resonate at 15KHz. (The classic 1-inch measurement mike resonated around 6KHz.)

A *LOT* of good work can be done with 11KHz response.

So maybe they don't see the need. And surely any mike-guru can trade-off 6db sensitivity for 22KHz limit.

The benefit of graphene has to be higher strength/weight ratio. All kinds of claims are made. I don't know if they are true in production.
