Cool its sounds like the audio the man speaking was recorded on crackly disc and is noise gated ....the crackles are only when he speaks.......I feel like having some rice crispies now.....snap crackle & pop!

Takes me a long time to get my head round things like valves / Toobs yeah this really is a good way to learn about tubes/valves ......maybe this could go in the meta...

As the man in the films says the tube is a switch but WHAT A SWITCH !!
