I'm not doing much tracking these days, so slimming down my pres and am looking to get rid of my green pre.  However, when testing out the unit, I was bummed to find an old problem that I had put out of my mind; on every channel, the noise floor rises disproportionately to the gain on the greatest two gain settings (lorlins all wired with 1% resistors).  Has anyone else encountered such a problem, and any insight as to the cause?  some sort of oscillation/feedback?

Smaller, separate issue, it's four channels for one PSU, two channels are well matched in gain, two channels mismatch (gain changes on each channel are consistent, have ruled out the lorlin pots).  I'm most concerned about the noise floor issue though.

Pretty sure the boards are v14, but could be mistaken.  Have yet to crack it open...

Thanks for any insight.
