Hi all !

I came across this forum while looking for the Aphex 124 service manual.

I am a person who wanted to be an audio engineer but life decided otherwise. In the 80s, I imagined myself in front of a big SSL with the multitrack open reels next to it...
As an IT engineer, I ended in front of keyboards and screens... But, I'm still passionate about analog audio with a recent interest in RTRs.
I collect a mix of consumer and professional equipment that takes up “a bit” of space..

Although the learning curve is sometimes steep, I try to learn analog electronics and do maintenance or repairs myself, even at the cost of spending a ridiculous amount of time on them. Digital electronics, although built on analog grounds, is much easier for me.

Welcome to the group, I come from somewhere around your place and in the 80's I made the opposite choice except I was in front of a Neve It's been a good ride but I should probably have stayed in medical school.
