Although my SSL clone works excellent........
Still have a question.
Is that I barely have to touch the threshold pot before the compressor starts to work when I send hot signal level to it. Say -2 db from digital full scale ?

It's made to follow the studio standard of +4dB over 775mV.

Your converters probably put out much more than that at fsd. measure it.
