Ok so here it is I posted the pictures already, yes there is no ground hooked up but that was fixed after the pictures were taken.

No I didn't have any hum?
I can't figure out why you would....

I would guess that it is either:
1. Your power supplies are not so good.
2. You haven't grounded the signal ground togeher with AC ground.
3. THe Power where you live is really bad. Try pluging in somewhere else.


The 45 degree angle well no reason really. I wanted to leave a gap for a fan in case it ran too hot.

you can download excell viewer for free at the microsoft site. If you are using WinXP, just try opening the file and then ask microsoft to look for the best program to open it and it will lead you to excell viewer download directly!
 
Theres a program called openoffice that will open word and excell documents. Just do a search on google.
