that will keep a smile on my face all day

yes we do like a bargain
I have a very large bulk bag of 4148s that could well last my lifetime of DIY and general maintenance

I changed the 1N914's to 1N4148's in the simulator and everything changed but I was able to bring the DC down to a few millivolts, obviously Q5 had to go. So I'm off to building it.
