So, I bought an as is Hammond 161G28 (used them before in my Mic Preamp builds) issue pin 6 of the transformer is broke off flat. It's a 14v-0v-14v transformer. Could I somehow wire it as a single secondary, leaving the 6 unconnected and using 1&2 for primary,
ground pin 5 and use 3&4 for 14v? What kind of issurs noise wise am I loiking at leaving pin 6 unconnected?
