Thanks all for the kind words...  I didn't want to make a big production about this, I just mentioned it in passing (privately).  I get too much fake birthday love on facebook. Facebook has diluted and merchandized the meaning of "friend" beyond recognition.

Dinking a (good) beer in my honor is a perfect tribute so salute!/salud/Santé!, cheers, proost/prost, kanpai, gān bēi, Skål 

Better yet buy a beer for a soldier/veteran/police officer. Last time I saw a soldier traveling in uniform I bought him dinner (including beers inside the airport terminal).

Life is short be well and do well....
