I doubt you need seeing.  =P  10kpot. Pin1 in from U1A pin1, sharing output of circuit. Pin2 to U1 pin5 (+) and pin 3 to com. 

Now go make some audio origami.

I bought the first edition. Great book marred only by a few small errors. I emailed Doug about the ones I had found which I think got included in the list of errata he published on his web site. Hopefully they got fixed in the second edition. He is a nice guy, easy to talk to.
