Reviving this thread as I've got a fairly Heath Robinson bit of kit here. I'm definitively a 'non-tech' so can't really contribute much in the way of informed discussion, but I *think* it might be a custom-build/DIY speaker crossover. There are 6 big Sowter transformers (3607s, about which I can find very little online) and four of the Helios 5054 cards discussed earlier up-thread (about which this discussion is pretty much the only mention).

I'm trying to find out what the 5054s are - anyone able to add any more on that question?

It's not conclusive by any means, but the "05" might indicate an equaliser of some sort going by the Helios schema for numbering modules and "plug-in panels" (see attached). So a crossover might well fit within that, if these boards counted as "plug-in panels".

It would be good to find a direct reference to the 5054; particularly if these cards could be set up for use as EQs/filters rather than gathering dust in a deceased crossover
