Hi!
I'm Keith and I'm from Memphis, Tennessee. I'm a session bass player and an audio engineer looking to expand my skills as a DIY microphone and preamp circuit builder.
I'm pretty new to building my own gear, but so far have successfully replaced a condenser microphone capsule and did a complete overhaul of a tube microphone that I have replacing all of it's internal parts from the transformer all the way up to the tube, circuit and capsule. I loved it so much I want to do more and eventually build some of my own 500 series preamps. Looking forward to reading a lot here! I attached a photo of the tube mic when it was just about complete!
