Hi all, happy to have found this spot! Hmm let's see, about me.. I'm a touring FOH engineer for a fairly well established Hard Rock band and have been with that artist for about 13 years. I've been on the road for 30. I Tour Manage as well so yes, I am a glutton for punishment but I like it. Lately I've become re-interested in analog and reel to reel and have collected a couple Nagra (I think that can be plural) over the past year which I have used to capture my SDBD L/R mixes. They have really ignited a part of me that got me interested in audio to begin with as a child and so here we are. I've got a functioning model III and 2 x IV-SJ which have all toured and the required maintenance has gotten me back into electronics repair, build, etc. Otherwise I'm just a quiet dude that hangs at my place in the woods when I'm not out babysitting musicians and mixing. Thanks for the community and I look forward to participating.

What a wonderful introduction! It's cool that after all these years audio still excites you. Nagras are wonderful machines. Thanks for being here. I hope you enjoy the people. They're a good bunch.

Thank you Barry, yeah it's a lifelong interest that began as a child standing in front of my fathers Magnavox reel to reel listening to Abbey Road and watching the VU meters bounce around and wondering hmmm, how does this all work? Thanks for the hello and I appreciate the message and the welcome!
