…from Sweden! Long time reader here, haven’t posted too much. I’m 22 and studying Audio Engineering, spending all my free time on electronics and various DIY-projects.. Im mostly into tubes, transformers and all things analog.

I’m in the middle of building a Vari-Mu stereo compressor, based on the Chiswick VK1. I’ve previously built a few tube mic preamps, guitar amplifiers, pedals, microphones… I’ll soon have more stuff than I’ll ever need!

This forum has helped me countless times with projects, I’m hoping I can contribute, too.

Thanks! Your G7 project got me started with DIY. Sadly I don’t have the completed microphone anymore..

I figured I might post some other stuff I’ve built:

Tube Mic Amplifier with 2x 1620 valves and one 6SN7. Jorgen Schou input transformer and a 600:600 UTC transformer for output.


U47-inspired mic with EF13 tube and Thiersch M7
