Help identify this electrical component?!

Hey gang!


I have an inquiry on what this electrical component may be? Input transformer of some kind? Filter? Capacitor? Unfortunately, there are no markings on it that I can see anywhere. There's the threaded part on the top which may give clue to something. Black & White pair, Green & Yellow pair of wires. Any ideas from function to "toss it in the trash!" are welcome

Threading part is for mounting in a chassis.

Might be a transformer.

Use an ohm meter (DVM or VOM) to measure resistance from one pair of wires to the other.

..or special relay?
..or vibrator (for psu ht boost from batteries)?
..or sensor of some type, perhaps pressure- (is the thread an input?) ?

Yep, green yellow low impedance, black white high impedance.

Is there any point in making a DI box thing out of this, or not worth it?
