How different is the Nanocompressor from the 3630?

I had mine open today and noticed that it too was based of THAT 2150 VCA's and had a similar opamp to the 3630. Do you think it might be possible to mod it in a similar fashion?

ahh - good call. I will put one up tomorrow. I need to get back in there to replace the AC jack since I lost the original supply - my digital camera kinda stinks, but it should suffice.

VCA's are THAT 2150A

opamp is TL084CN

theres also a THAT 2252 in there, and that little 8 pin is a TL082CN

Looks very similar, but it can be a bit hard to tell. Lots of LM339's in there, and to me that's a part of the problem with the 3630's sound. I've been slowly working up a 3630 to sound a bunch better and it's getting there, but with lots of work.
