HPGL question/front designer questions

o.k. hthis is a no brainer to me but an all night mixing session has me wondering. I am using front designer to do my front pannels and it will do an export to HPGL. :thumb: So my question goes if I am using a black pannel I would avoid using black text right?
Next if my Blank pannel is colored should I use that color in front designer as my pannel when I export it?

im sure im wrong but...

just use what ever color gives you the best contrast when placing the graphic. I think all the HPGL will do is basically mark where the machine will "engrave" the metal. so color doesnt really matter.. the "filler" that you choose will determine the color.. unless ofcourse your happy with the metal look intead of a painted engraving.
