Thank you, i'm just like you a mic user. I love to build but i don't have a clue as far as design. I was just curious about why you called one a U87 and the other M269. From memory i thought the main difference between 67 and 269 was the tube but in your builds the tube stayed the same.

I’m not 100% clone from them. Just concept from u87 and M269.
 
Most U67 owners remove the S2 jumper for a better low end.
I would have removed the low-cut filter altogether.
(Most audio interfaces/mixers have a low-cut filter anyway.)
I've omitted the low-cut filter in my U67-"ish" microphone and never found this to be a problem.
Most 'historic' microphones (U47, M251 etc.) never had this filter.
