So lets say an input TX for a certain preamp input (fet, tube, opamp...) isn't right impedance wise, a little off for the required input of the amp.
does this effect just the amplitude of the signal or does it effect different frequencys of the signal differently?
The reason I ask is, I've just built so much frankenstien stuff, and now I'm actually starting use it all and I just want to get an idea of what to use and not use for the important things... like drum overheads.
if its just effects S/N ratio thats cool but...well you know.
