Impedance of 1073 output pad

I want to add a 6-10db H pad on the output of a 1073.
Looking at input 600 ohms.
Not sure about the output impedance. Sometimes it will feed 600 inputs and other times 10k.
Any suggestions?

Design it for 600 Ohms....then add a switch to optionally load the pad with 600 Ohms when driving a "high impedance" load.
