Is it me or are the diagrams different from the spreadsheet values.. like they are all backwards?

Like position 1 I take would be all CCW and would have two resisters in a ladder attenuator to give maximum attenuation... and position 12 (full CW) would just have the impedance load reistor to ground and nothing on the other side to give 0 attenuation. But the pictures label that position 1 instead of 12. Maybe I'm missing something. :? :shock:
