Hello, my name is Lance. I'm a recording and mixing engineer in the US.
I'm only just getting my career started by working with local rock bands and artists. Over the past few years or so I've gradually been building out my setup.
In 2021 I aquired a TAC Scorpion II from a mutual connection. I'm nearly finished building all my snakes, and hooking the board into two 96pt Audio Accesories Patchbays.
I've always been more technologically oriented. Grew up taking things apart and trying to learn how they work.
Now, in my early 20s I'm graduated from school and am taking an interest in DIYing my own gear. I will be "fixing" up my scorpion board. Prepping to recap and install preamp upgrades from aml.
I have been exploring electronic circuits to understand how audio circuits fundementally function. I've been taught to use gear, not build it.
I'm excited to be a part of a community
