Mine is built into on old Gates remote preamp chassis and uses the input and output transformers from that unit. As can be seen in the pictures, it is meticulously constructed/wired. The power supply is the original, external, tube-rectified supply from the Gates, rebuilt. Controls are as follows:
-Preamp Gain
-High and Low shelf gain (stepped)
-High and Low shelf frequencies
-Mic/Line Input
-Input Pad
-Output Pad
-Output Level
