Has anyone successfully ordered knobs from Taiwan Knobs? What's the proceedure?

I'm tearing my hair out trying to find someone who has the knobs I need and as usual, no one has stock

yeah there are some that I need too from that company. What model are you looking for, can you post a picture?

I need more of these at 32mm. I can get them from RS Components(export division). Allied doesn't stock them, and the import and shipping cost is too much. I paid $70 for two of these knobs!

1000 pieces !! Man, I'm so f&*cking tired of all these companies who pretend to make products for sale. By that I mean you find the stuff in 100 catalogs and with near 1000 distributors but not one of them has 2 freaking knobs in stock!! I can't even find someone with stock on a Sifam knob. I think it's Electrosonic who I can order small quantity from but I'd have wait until spring before I get them  Useless!!!!!

I'm trying to find Alco KCB knobs and Sifam 15mm.

That knob looks like a Kilo. I'm sure you can find them. Mind you 32mm is really big.

Hey tommytones,
You can try to order from this site here, just scroll down to the bottom of the page and click under 面版用旋鈕 KNOB.

They have 11 pages different type of knobs, I haven't actually tried buying over the net from them only visit them during my holidays........

Thanks for the link. It's somewhat confussing I must say. All the ???? :? They seem to have the type knob I need but I can't find any part number.

Learner,

Is that an actual shop, or what? They seem to have a lot of interesting stuff indeed..!

e.g.:

If anyone manages to buy from them, could you please post your comments?

After looking around, I'm still confused... They do have cool products like a very nice ESD soldering station. I get the impression though, they're more interested in distributor sales than a couple dozen knobs. I guess I'll try to contact them and see what happens.

Hi jackob,
Yes, its an actual shop.

http://www.cpu.com.tw/kh/doc/kh-addr.html

Mum just got back from holiday last week and bought back a bunch of stuff from them, breadboards, tools, socket pins etc........

hehe.....you got me there. The stuff on you link are actually one of my "secrete" source of what I am looking to get sometime down the track, as soon as I get some of my tube circuit working the way I am looking to........

PM me if you want something sorted, I might be going back end of next year but too busy with college at the moment........

Hey tommytones,
try here to send then an order, I think they have a $40 USD minimim purchase order tho.....

Dad comes back and forth to Taiwan every 3 month for holiday, so if you are not in a hurry I can get him to pick some up from there and send it to you when he gets back.

just PM me......

Too bad that is only one of many few shops that have a web site, there are streets full of electronics shops like that which you can go and pick out some really interesting parts............not to mention the electronic flea market there......

Just buy them from Digikey. They are the KILO brand. The best quality in this style. This is what Manley used until they started making them themselves. Probably about $5-7 each.

Not for a 32mm knob. Definitely more expensive but Kilo does make it.

So I just sent off a fax using the order form. There aren't any prices I can see so i asked for them. Gave a pile of part numbers. Man, there's some very cool stuff there. There aren't any (english anyhow) part numbers for the knobs though. I hope they can figure out what I asking about :?

Don't know if they have exactly what you need, but Cosmo Corp. in Cleveland has a big line and aren't much more expensive than overseas. Plus they speak English, more or less.
Anybody else notice the KFC & McD's on the map :green:
You can get KFC breakfast in Hong Kong!! The only place in the world you can also get Thai rice KFC meal

might try that next time on my holiday........

Don't worry tommytones, if it does't work out just let me know what knobs you want. I'll get them sorted, since I got a big list of stuff to get for myself........
