AC voltage readings across the supply caps would be interesting to see though.

An oscilloscope (or even an "audio probe" connected to the instrument input of an audio interface, plus RoomEQ Wizard or a scope plugin in your DAW) would be really helpful too...

Well, "flying blind" isn't exactly very constructive either...

Do you have a piece of solid-core copper wire, a 100nF 100-250V film cap, a 10k and a 1meg resistor, some length of audio cable (one core plus shield) and a 1/4" male jack, some heatshrink and some basic soldering skills? I assume you at least have an audio interface..?

Audio interface yes! 1/4 inch jack yes, Resistors and caps no.

So "flying blind" and using whatever I have in hand is unfortunately my only option.

Then have fun replacing all the components on the power supply / amplifier board AND the crossover board. That's the only (arguably useful) advice anyone can give you, without any actual troubleshooting / measurements possible (apparently), but then we circle back to "whatever I have in hand", which seems to be next to nothing...

Thanks for the help ,well I guess that's gonna have to be the route I'm going to take. I will update when I eventually replace the failed component as it might be useful to someone else.

I think what Khron was pointing out is that if you have no components, you have to order everything anyway. As long as you are ordering components, you might as well order a couple of extra to make some troubleshooting tools so you can hopefully determine what is wrong and just fix it the first time, without blindly rebuilding the entire amplifier (which might not even solve the problem, depending on what it turns out to be).
