Audio interface yes! 1/4 inch jack yes, Resistors and caps no.Well, "flying blind" isn't exactly very constructive either...
Do you have a piece of solid-core copper wire, a 100nF 100-250V film cap, a 10k and a 1meg resistor, some length of audio cable (one core plus shield) and a 1/4" male jack, some heatshrink and some basic soldering skills? I assume you at least have an audio interface..?
So "flying blind" and using whatever I have in hand is unfortunately my only option.
@lostbandicootThen have fun replacing all the components on the power supply / amplifier board AND the crossover board. That's the only (arguably useful) advice anyone can give you, without any actual troubleshooting / measurements possible (apparently), but then we circle back to "whatever I have in hand", which seems to be next to nothing...
Thanks for the help ,well I guess that's gonna have to be the route I'm going to take. I will update when I eventually replace the failed component as it might be useful to someone else. Then have fun replacing all the components on the power supply / amplifier board AND the crossover board.
