Hi all

I'm back and I will try to repost the schematic as soon as possible. I have to find the file because since I moved to my new home all my data CDs and DVDs are packed in boxes.

OK, I found the file and uploaded it. Enjoy.

I also sent it to our groupdiy email address, so even if at some point the server will crash, you will have access to the file.

This is an interesting effort and response. It appears to be appreciated by many, so good work.

Sometimes I have trouble reading schematics for older stuff I designed. (Maybe I can get you to redraw them  .. just kidding). Back then engineers didn't draw their own schematics for publication, and since schematics weren't hard linked to the working product via CAD, accuracy was always suspect.

I didn't start using a computer for PC layouts until mid '80s.

I have no idea what happened, probably someone accidentaly deleted it. I sent it again.

By the way, I found the 90% ready SSL 9k deconstruction file. As soon as I will have time to finish it I will post the file.

Ok..SO leave in V3 and V4...just take out V1 and V2?

I am printing of the voltage charts and the la-2a deconstructed sheet to review tonight...once i get off work...

It sucks so bad right now...I feel like I've got everything set up, but it just doesnt work!
Keep the comments coming guys! I need the help and welcome it with open arms!

AWESOME!!!  This is a HUGE help for me and you're exactly right: schemos to me are like a bird's nest!

To be honest, I've never understood why schemos don't overlay the block diagrams over the components.  You've done a great job here...thank you!!!

Block dgm and schemos are like a small-scale and a large-scale map. Use one or the other depending if you're planning or actually travelling.
Some schemos are actually so dense you couldn't add anymore to them.
Breaking down a schemo in its building blocks is the basis of circuit analysis; that's what one does at school.
But after some time you just look at a schemo and you see the individual blocks.

I understand; but there's a number of us DIY'ers who have no formal training in electronics.  I've done more than my fair share of reading books and schematics; I can identify the primary components in the circuit and understand the whats/whys but I still have trouble figuring out all the components in each block of the diagram.  Schemos like this one is extremely educational for The Confused - like me!   ;D
