If you need a high SPL source - angle grinders are noisy as hell. Usually official spec is something around 96 dB but, if I properly recall, is measured at some distance from the device.
And it's for free running only. Cutting into a steel plate elevates the noise level significantly. Up close it's really painful to hear.
Unless you need an high SPL impulse instead of a constant noise of course.

I have couple of them as well as a friend who owns guns but you choose to live far away from me, for some obscure reason.

But guns.. yes, guns - nice, high SPL impulse.... Easily adjustable distance from the source. Haven't you got a shooting range in your vincinity by any chance?
Maybe it'd be possible to arrange a recording/measuring session with someone? It surely depends how restrictive rules and regulations are.

The best way to mess with a capsule is to put it in a closet and close the door and then yank the door open as hard as possible. Now that's "high SPL"
I was going to say the same - the easier way to generate high Sound Pressure Levels is to create large changes in air pressure suddenly. Opening/slamming a door to a small room is a great way to do that.
