Hi all !

I just bought a couple of LEM T.2610.
I have absolutely no idea what they are for , nor their specs.
A quick search did not match any results.

Do anyone know them?Their specs?Their quality?
Could someone tell me if I can measure the "coils" with a DMM ? (I only have a FLUKE 117 in my hands)
Maybe a rough idea of their unit price ? (I think I'll sell them)

Here's a pic!

I measured : (approx)

25R between 1&2 , 25R between 2&3 , 46R between 1&3 , 26R between 4&6

Could an expert translate tho results for me ?.
I'll give a call to LEM tommorow!

Thanks.

Could be a nice choice for a pultec input transformer or other 600Ohm to 600 Ohm app.
Primary is 4&6 and secondary 1&3, ommit the center tap 2, connect 5 to shield/ground.

edit: sry, miss - read the 26R between 4&6 as 46R

Hi Max !

Then I'll try it in my meq500 ! Thank you so much for your explanations.I was quite sure they were 600/600 as I "think" they were used just to prevent from buzz  ...

Mathematical question : how can I know they are 600/600 whereas primary measured 25 and secondary 45 (R) ??
Is there a secret formule that a tx genius would share ? ;D

So , who have an idea of a fair price ?(fair for buyer and fair for seller) :)

google for websites " eg http://www.diyguitarist.com/GuitarAmps/OT-ReflectedLoad.htm
feed some voltage thru the primary and measure the voltage on the secondary.
you will have the impedance ratio.
if your voltage is equal you have a 1/1 transformer.
you can use it as 600/600 but also 200/200 10k/10k etc.....
to know if it s a good tx used as 600/600 you need an oscillo and a generator.
just put a 600 ohm R across the secondary and your oscillo probes here.
send a signal (sinus then square) from 20 hz to 20 40 100khz (-20 -10 0 + 10 +20 db)and look at the wave form on your oscillo.
hope it help

Thank you guyzzz!!!!

I called LEM today , will send them an email , and then will wait for the answer...
But for my own knowledge I'll try to get an oscillo and try Audioforge's technic!!Thank you again !

PS : Audioforge , I'm "specone" @ audiofanzine...Cheers!

sry, i miss-read the value between 4&6.
to hook up as 1:1 connect pin (1+3)&2 as primary.

Less strange to me then!  :)
They effectively were connected like this before I pulled them out of their rack.

Hi everybody, back to this topic, sorry!
Would like to know if anybody has seen that kind of transformer. I think it should be an input transformer...
Thank you
