Lexicon 960L Won't boot

Hi All,

Lexicon 960L

LARC says "NO 960L YET"

No LEDs lighting on the Reverb PCB

Intermittent booting to BIOS, visible with the external monitor port

Power supply seems to be running okay, although there are a few puffed caps.

CD-Rom drive will not eject after a few seconds.

Sound familiar? Any ideas?

what voltages do you measure off the PSU? the 960L is a computer. puffed caps should be replaced for sure

Roger that.

The power supply has all of it's correct voltages.

It's basically an ATX supply. Although it's using the "WHITE" -5vdc wire which isn't normal for a ATX supply.

I'm Late, But were you able to fix no 960 Yet error?? I'm getting it on mine,...

could be cable to the LARC. You can test the LARC by making a plug that connects the TX and RX lines together, not connected to the mainframe.
