Hello everyone,

I know about the Jim williams mod in the US .

Does anyone know of any kind of mod service like this, available in Europe?

I wanna find someone who could mod a LEXICON Reflex unit, or any info available on the mods themselves, i have schematics and know someone who can do it.

Thank you all in advance

From what i read only :

I replace digital conversion parts, sample and hold opamps, timing caps, the demultiplexer with w 74HS types, the comparitor with NOS LF211. Those will lower noise and smooth out the reverb tails nicely. It's difficult work requiring skill and troubleshooting chops. The rest won't make any difference

I guess it really depends on what you want / expect. I'm not sure anyone, apart from Audio Upgrades themselves, know the exact "recipe", ie. the list of parts to replace, etc.

Hi, Jim does top-notch work. I was very pleased with what he did with a U87 for me. As previously posted, I doubt anyone could exactly match what he does because he's a little secretive with what he does. But he's very, very good.

Good enough to pay shipping to/from the States? Depends on your needs. I shipped a microphone and power supply to Andreas Grosser in Germany for upgrading - cost me almost $400 in shipping alone. So I guess it depends on what you value.
