I've picked up a lomo mke100 electret microphone and a visibly identical oktava mke271 microphone. I've done many searches and can't find any info on these at all. One has batteries that are almost dead, but sounds great as a drum mono overhead. They have 2 Hyundai r10, 1.5 volt batteries that I can't seem to find here in the states. Would it be easier to convert these to phantom than locate batteries? Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi I am from Russia.
You can do so.

But it can be changed completely.
The result is good. This is a scheme.

Sorry for my English.

Wow, that's cool. Thanks for the reply. I used a translator program that was horrible, therefore I could not quite understand most of it. It looks like you, and some others on that forum, are converting the MKE 100 to the electronics of a LOMO 19a19 tube circuit? That would be a great! The forum also wouldn't let me see any of the diagrams or pictures. Any tips on better accessing or translating it. Are you or someone else selling a pcb kit with a parts list or kit that includes everything?

Your diagrams are now links to image hosting, that show up now. Have you done all of the mods? Do you prefer one over the other? I'm assuming the the tube circuit is the 19a19 conversion, from what I could translate from the forum link?
Thanks!

Microphones reworked in two ways:

1. Without an output transformer. According to the scheme.

My caps were bad therefore added to this scheme through the polarizing voltage divider.

Result sound good.

2. The other with tubes under the scheme LOMO 19A19. According to the scheme.

Output transformer K=1:5. You can use the output transformer of the MCE-100

The result is a very good sound.

Also, I have collected LOMO 19A19 from the microphone capsule OCTAVA MK-102. In the photo on the left.

Hello

I know this is an old thread but could you please let me know if this Lomo capsule can take 5.1V across the capsule? Or this must be lower than that ?

I can not find any info on what is the voltage across the capsule ...Thank you ! :)
