Blue Hummingbird Mics

The local importer has landed me with a handful of these SDC mics. As I understand it, Blue no longer exists (what is Skipper Wise up to these days).
The mics all have noise problems (snap crackle pop to dying elephant trumpeting) all totally random. Anyone know what happens to these things?.

I felt a fool for not buying a bunch when they were being closed-out for 80euros a piece, but maybe I did the right thing!
