Looking for NYC area builder - Drip Audio Fairchild 660

Having know several people who built their own Drips, and several more who hired others to build them for them I would strongly advise you don't do this.

1) Find a way to demo a Undertone Unfairchild
2) If that sound is really what you value buy that instead of going the DIY route, you'll have a warranty and ongoing support.

Heresy in a DIY forum but of this specific project I think it' the right approach.

Drip has been reported many times for leaving his customers stranded, the poor quality of his documentation and utter absence of reactivity when asked for help.

hey right on actually yeah ive realized i can go with POM 660 for same cost and it's got a warranty and best quality ...
was on wait list for a Stamchild but decided i'll wait for the POM and pony up the extra cost (when it's announced supposedly end of this year) thanks

There is a local builder here in Charleston with 3 670's done and ready to ship. These are his own, not drips, and are very nice. I know Ardent studios just bought one from him.
