I got a call from a guy who is not happy with the sound quality of it. I found out that it´s using a passive design.
I had the idea to exchange the potentiometers in the unit for him. Also he mentioned that he is not happy with the sockets of it.
Does somebody have a service manual, or did somebody upgraded the unit already?

Thanks, Andreas

Maybe it's just not the product he wants.

Maybe he wired it wrong.

Maybe he just needs a better beer.

"The Master Attenuator utilizes discrete 0.5% resisters with a switched mechanism"

How can you second-guess a company who utilizes "utilizes" and spells "resistors" without an Oh?

Wouldn't it be easier for your guy to return the unit to the point of purchase and buy something he likes?
