Hi guys, I know this thread is old but I'm posting to correct a mistake that I came across in my search for PM1000 related articles. The formula posted by PRR is actually incorrect. The correct formula should be f=1/2π√LC where π is pi (3.14) and this can be verified by the site posted above by matching the calculations to the results from the webpage. http://www.opamplabs.com/cfl.htm

Just in case anyone else comes across this site for info on the PM1000 also.  :)
Cheers,
Sean.

What I wrote was "Center-frequency of an LC network is proportional to 1/squareroot(L*C)".

I wrote "is proportional to" instead of one-over 2 pi because the 1/2pi=0.159.. factor only gets in the way when you have an existing known design and wish to change the frequency.

It's basic first-year electric engineering.

Square-root LC is actually quite correct... but gives an answer in Radians Per Second. Math-Geniuses such as Tubejay was seeking will know to multiply by six-something when talking to audio-geeks who only know Cyles Per Second; there's 6.28 radians in a cycle.

Thanks for the clarification.
