G Gus Well-known member Joined Jun 3, 2004 Messages 5,269 Location n Aug 15, 2021 #4 Gate capacitance is an issue with jfet used in microphone voltage gain stages. As a follower it is less of an issue. Another thought is maybe the gate diodes could be used like in AT microphones
