Yes, that's all that happens, as compared to other circuit topologies where signal level can drop, disappear completely, or release magic smoke.  8)  Designs that still work despite typical customers are always desirable.

As long as they aren't using grounded center-taps on output winding. Grounding one leg can upset them too....  ::)

In the fixed install business the industry insisted on floating transformer 70V speaker outputs so they didn't have to pay attention to one leg being grounded accidentally or on purpose.

No service call was required unless both legs got accidentally grounded.  :eek:
