Midas L10 or CAPI 511-VPR XLR?

Hello all. I acquired a bunch of brand new DBX 580s that I’d like to put to use. I don’t have budget for something like a Cranborne, anyways the idea of a kit build is attractive as well. Just wondering if anyone has an opinion on a Midas 10 slot VS CAPI 11 slot with filters (I use these two as they are the same money)?

The CAPI is an easy build that is well within my skillset, but I don’t need 11 slots, if I’m honest I could be happy with 6.

Appreciate any views from the experienced among us

Hello all. To update on this 500 Series topic, After some digging I’ve decided to go with a Total Audio Control 6-slot kit from Sahib. I’ll use their linear PSU which is not cheap but will give me a juicy 250mA per slot. I’m taking the basic option to keep the overall cost within budget (the inserts on the advanced are nice, but not essential). I’ll post again when I have it all together on the bench.

You won't go wrong with a TAC rack. I've built a couple of the 11-slots, and they're fantastic. Have fun!
