The Anthem series looks promising to me, has anyone heard them? The price is quite good, I'm mainly interested in the 8“ and 10” models for smaller amps like Gibson GA5 and Fender Champ/Princeton types.

Who makes them for Mojotone? Maybe WGS, Jensen or are they from China?

Not much help, but...

I am very happy with the sound of the WGS 8" offering. I bought it for a little practice amp, but thought, hmm... why not throw it in my polytone baby brute and see what it sounds like... I haven't put the original speaker back in yet.

It has a pleasant balanced sound, decent efficiency, and they will make it in 4/8/16 ohm. On sale now for the same price as the mojotone, and I think free shipping too.

I just installed the WGS 8” in an amp this fall, I like it for overdrive and fuzzy sounds! For the next amp I'm looking more for a Jensen/Fender style sound.
I put one in a Champ, and one in a Super Reverb. No complaints.
I've got a 10 inch Anthem. Delivers classic Fender tone in spades.
Everything I have heard from the speaker on youtube so far goes exactly in this direction. The Anthem 8“ (and 10”) also reminds me of the Jupiter SC (built by WGS), which I also like.
