mxl 2001 transformer

i'm doing the tube mod to my mxl2001, and all ive seen of people that replace the trans is using the sowter 9535 (IIRC). i cant find anyone in the states that carrys this so im looking for alternatives.

i saw zebra50 i think use a lundhal 1636 in his v76 mxl mic, would this work? what are some alternatives i can use?

I used the Jensen DBE-U as called for on the parts list. You can order right from Jensen; Just tell them what your doing. The "U" stands for un-cased and that's what you want.

yeh, i know which jensen to get. but they are a bit more $$, and i was about to make an order from cinemag for my 312 input trans and thought i might get my mic input at the same time. just thinking about trying a lundhal or cinemag just for something different.
