Hi all  first post here so forgive me if some of this is buried in help threads - I've looked thru quite a bit of the 238 pages !

I'm building a GSSL to complement my home recording set up based on Mixbus.
I'm using the PCB kit from chef at Audio Kitchen

I have plenty of components from my stash, but wondered if any UK builders can give any tips on sourcing stuff that youve used succesfully in your own GSSL builds ?  Particularly nice Rack case , meter , pcb mounting rotary switches and trimmers. The rest is pretty straightforward via RS components or Farenll who I usually use.

Any advice really welcomed.

Hi,

Try modushop.biz for cases.  They're Italian, so no customs fees, fair prices, decent quality.

Schaffer in Germany for front panels if you want to design yor own, or Frank @ Nrg recording offers a similar service for less money.  Also look at Grandmaster Audio in the white market, though I haven't personally tried him.

I'm not sure whether anyone does complete cases with front panels for the GSSL on this forum.  Again check the White Market.

Lorlin rotary switches and trimmers should definitely be available at Farnell.

will do Jakob - I now realise I should have posted there to start with.

Cheers
Pete
