I thought the 1176 was a fixed threshold compressor.  The input and output knobs control how hard you compress/make up, right?    Can you explain the T.Hold knob?

Actually, when you change the ratio, you change the threshold too. Take a look at the original 1176 schematic, there's 2 gang(?) selector switch/push button, one for change ratio, the other one to change threshold, they work simultaneous.

What i did was change the threshold selector switch with potentiometer....and omit the input pot (or use trimpot)
